Post subject:  Scouts Background and Royal Marines
Do the Royal Marines of Milandir use scouts? The Scout Background allows them to take talents specific to the militaries they come from (eg a Coryani Legion Scout could take the Talent Strength of the Coryani Heart). So could a milandesian Scout justly claim to be part of the Royal Marines (and eligible to take the Royal Marine Talent). Seems to me the answer should be yes as written. But not sure if that really fits story-wise.

They may say whatever they want, but mechanically they are a scout.

Also, please remember that the Royal Marines are not the United States Marines. They are not a military corps which does land/sea/are combat, but dedicated naval infantry for shipboard combat. To be a scout for this force would be difficult unless they were a VERY good swimmer :P
