You can HAVE as many animals as you want, but only one can be your Loyal Companion (with all the Talents that go with it). Beast Lore allows you to train other animals, but they are little more than minions.

like i said i agree with the idea of having alot of animals in the role of pack animals/minions, as long as your able to show how you acquired them, they are quite pricey. i just thought the idea of several L.C. was wrong on a fundamental and mechanical level, regardless of whether or not you spent your rank ups on the talent for each separate animal.
