Now that the Kickstarter is done, I'm curious how many selected the add-on allowing for a Tultipetan character. Basically this is a thread to see how many of us there are and what sorts of characters we intend to play. You know "tell me about your character." ;) I think it might make for an interesting discussion and who knows it might give mod authors or PCI some ideas. I'm at work now but when I get home I'll post the notes I have for the character I intend to play, Arun.

I selected it and, of course, plan on becoming an Adorned Seer and Fatespinner ;) Should be fun!

Me, too. Although I expect it'll be a while before I play her. The plan is to go Divine Adorned Seer + Fatespinner.

I picked up one as a just in case as well. You bring up an interesting question, though, or whether male Tultipetans can be Fatespinners. My guess would be yes, but the gender requirement would have to be clarified in the Errata for them. Then again, regional weapons need to be specified for them (as well as the val'Vasik), so I figure we'll see more specifics when the PDFs are sent out.

Fatespinners are required to be female. Henry was very specific on that point when I asked about it. He indicated or at least alluded to another Larrisan holy champion order and referenced the picture in the A:RPG on p. 182.

With a sweep of his hat,

Paul

I'm aware. The requirement of female is in the Errata, but Tultipetans, who are almost exclusively oracular, were not a player option, thus the question needs to be revisited.

Fatespinner is a Holy Order, and not a Tultipetan one. As such, ALL Fatespinners are Female, be they from Tultipet, Coryan, the Pirate Isles, or even the Elorii if they choose to join. It is a requirement of the Order, and has been for the 10 or so years since it was first published.

That's too bad I was thinking of going that route. However if Henry nixes it we can still go Adorned Seer since I don't see Farseer in the prereqs.

My roommate Beth does not post on the boards (at least not yet :) so I'll post for her. Her plans are to play a Holy Champion of Cadic working towards Twilight Warrior. She's always liked that deity, something about the combination of music and murder appeals to her. I suppose I should worry about that... :) Oh and for the record we will play a married dwarf couple.
