| Post subject: | Restarting Arcanis convention play in Australia |
Hi all Not sure if this is the right section but .... I am after some advice. Now that my kids are a bit older ( Daughter number three is 1.5 now) I have been thinking about being able to dabble a bit more in the convention scene here in Australia and try to get Arcanis back up and running to at least a limited extent (Not sure If i will be able to get it back to the levels I had it in the LA days, as that was BC - Before Children) To do this I was planning to run a couple of games at our Easter convention (if it is not too late to submit to them) So big question is. As they will most likely me new players, do I start with Crusade story arc or do I go Blessed lands. My thinking is that Blessed lands Arc would be nice as it is the current story arc, but for introducing people and then having to get them to start at Tier 1.5 could be a hassle. What are peoples thoughts? Any learnings from other peoples experience would be great. Dean / Taffy Melbourne Australia |

Personally, I'd go with the Crusade! arc. It is a bit more of an intro as it was designed for Tier 1 play, while the Blessed Lands arc (Coming of the Destroyer) is geared more towards Tier 2 |

Since you can do the Blessed Lands Arc after the Crusader Arc, but not the other way around, I would start with the Crusader Arc. |
