Greetings,

I know the leveling cert is available to skip past the Crusade arc and move straight into the second one starting at Tier 1.5. How playable are the new mods with shiny new 1.1 characters?

I agree with Cody. All statblocks currently being created for this Story Arc are designed for 1.5 and 2.X Heroes in mind.

A table of 1.1 characters would probably fail any mission that wasn't softballed by a judge. OTOH if I had a table of new people then as a judge I would definitely find a way to make it doable.

Nothing sours a new player on a game system / campaign like failing their first mission. I think this is a good policy. There are many new players who will be more intrigued by the First City campaign rather than the crusade as well.
