Greetings,

I recall discussions from long ago, probably dating back to the 3.0 and 3.5 days about there conceivably being a birthplace of the gods. Does anyone remember the discussion or know of any references in mods / source books that reference or hint at it? Searching the forums here came up with a single reference about the Sorcerer King looking for it, but nothing more than that.

Doing research on ideas to incorporate into a home campaign.

With a sweep of his hat,

Paul

I recall a reference in the original Codex Arcanis in the Ymandragore section but that is it off the top of my head.

To my knowledge the only official reference is in the original Codex under the entry for Ymandragore. The SK believes that there is a place/thing called the Birthing Chamber of the Gods that could presumably catapult him to divinity if he accessed it.

The main reference involves the capture of a Celestial Giant. No mean feat. Presumably at the start of the Shadowed Age before the Giants we’re cursed by Illiir (or like the Celestial Giant in the Crusade arc, it would have been turned into a dwarf).

Eric Hughes speculated a connection to the Gin Ho cavers near the Blessed Lands. My opinion, he pulled that idea out of his “bottom.”

I have always wondered if the SK got involved in the Myrantian war with Eurenell (sp?) because he thought the Birthing Chamber was in that part of the World.
