Had a thought based on elorii questions on another thread:

What happens if two Laerestri fall for each other and a pregnancy results? Is the child raised by the Laerestri? Brought in and fostered at birth? Or do Laerestri not get pregnant: either because conception is so rare among elorii, sublimation/restraint by the Laerestri and/or other (metaphysical?) factors we don't know about?

My (entirely uneducated) guess is that if pregnancy among the Laerestri is physically possible, then there must be rules stating that the pregnant female must return to the Vastwood post-haste. I can't imagine that the Elorii elite would want to risk small enclaves of 'native Laerestri' popping up in human lands.

Yes. I suspect that's largely correct.

But if it is possible there is an adventure seed in a mother/father who doesn't want to give up their child.

One of the players in my group is a pregnant elorii from Seramas. Not a Laerestri, but we will keep you updated.

Refresh my memory. They're both of the same elorii sub-race, correct?

If you are talking about Amanda's and Kevin's characters, they are not the same subrace. Amanda's character is an Osalikene, and Kevin's character is a Berokene.
