After a while in development, I'm sharing publicly a set of theories on the origins of val bloodlines. The official story is that all Vals originally stemmed from the mating of Valinors with chosen humans. Then the val'Sosi became a known example of another way to create vals. Later we learned a hidden secret about the origin of the val'Inares bloodline. Suggesting anything other than the Valinor-mating story might be considered heretical, and thus I do not ascribe this theory to any of my characters in the game. Out-of-game, I'd like to thank my "heretical" co-conspirators for helping me hash out aspects of the ideas with facts and possibilities.
