Hnh. Cons. a) Story. I want to know what happened. I want to know who did what and when. I also take a ****ing dim view of hearing that some group had a "unique" bit of lore revealed and that they have the subsequent luxury of deciding if anyone else's understanding of Arcanis is expanded. That's bordering on separating this game into the Haves and Have Nots, and that's a bad. idea. Arcanis should not go "freemium" with it's lore. b) Money. I don't have a problem with cons being generous with attendees -in fact I think it's cool. Eric came back with Thonanos, I unlocked Spirit of Freedom. It's all good. Surviving Enpyben to get a huge whack of gold and exp made the experience even sweeter. c) Home release. It's an economic necessity not to do it? Cool. Totally fine with that, and I really appreciate the candor. |
