Question: Was Umor the most dangerous threat to the world, or to the Pantheon, or even to the coming domination of mankind? All we really know is that the Pantheon of Man believed him to be evil, but since the victor writes history, we cannot be sure
This is a valid point. In Elorii history Umor appeared peacefully and was able to convince Belisarda of...something before she disappeared.
It seems that many forces are working at the same goal but they are going about it their own way.
The Pantheon of Man seems to be travelling through time, space and planes trying to give humans the best chance of survival possible. Gaining allies like Valinor and Celestial Giants (dwarves). Building armies like the Infernal armies bound by Sarish. And making tools like crystals from the bones of an elder race, that protect against a specific but unknown Death Effect (from Sacrifice of Generations)
Kassegore and Yig have their own plan with Yig joining the PoM and Kassegore in hiding. Who knows if the PoM is aware of her true identity.
Belisarda has also gone missing and is either doing something alone, or following a plan that Umor told her to do.
All of the Gods seem to have a single goal, push back/defeat The Silence and Entropy.
