Henry, thanks for clarifying that. Even though the d20 Arcanis rules had details on fighting orders of monks in western Onara, I always felt like they were mostly an excuse to fit the d20 monk class into Arcanis. With the
A:RPG rules, does this mean that the fighting orders still exist as monastic orders associated with temples, yet they mostly lack training in unarmed combat?
As a concrete example, would members of the Order of Althares (
Codex Arcanis, Ch. VI;
PGtA, p.66) likely have training with war hammers and flintlocks but not with unarmed combat?
As another example, would members of the Order of the Iron Soul (
PGtA, p.76), which is devoted to Anshar, still have training in unarmed combat because it is her "favored weapon"?
