it would have [Training] if it were a training talent, so uh, do you still have an exception wilcoxcon?

Personally, I think the new talent suggestion is too limited. It is a Training talent (meaning no other Training talent ever) and it can only be taken to catch up a single talent per tier. I could live with it if it were a non-Training talent (on the other hand, even if it is a Training talent, it's better than the current rule). As I think I said before, I'd probably just open it up (yes, it could be "abused" but I don't think most people would do so).

It's not a training talent as proposed. It has training in the name, not in the catagories.

I don't think this should be a training talent.

I'm certainly not the final say in the matter, but I did not intend it to be a training talent, even though it has, "training" in the name.

That's what I get for reading things late at night and responding. Hat's post said it is a Training talent ("... at the expense of other Training talents like Sabbatical" [paraphrase]).

I still prefer the simple rules change but I'm fine with this as a tiered non-Training talent (it does avoid possible abuses of the simple rules change).

You're right, my mistake. I've edited my post to help avoid future confusion.

Thanks for the catch.

With a sweep of his hat,

Personally I like the idea of it being a training talent. Gives you something else to think about vis-a-via Sabbatical or Sword and Spell (and its derivatives).

I find having a meta-talent Talent makes me head explode, but I trust that if ya'll think it works right that's worth something. :|
