Manipulation of Shadow can create a fine shadow dagger. If you are psioniic, you can adapt it to add 1-3 fine runes to it. Adaptation: Shadow Weapons allows you to create a few other fine shadow weapons but no mention of runes is made. Can you add the fine runes to the weapons allowed under Shadow Weapons? By the rules, I don't think you can. Am I correct? However, I don't understand why not - for an extra talent that still has very limited weapons, I don't see any balance issues. Thoughts? |

I would vote you can. The adaptation is to expand your selection of weapons, and the text is for the only weapon that it provides. A strict reading says no, but I would personally rule that the spirit of the rule says yes. |

I assume you are a psion? i agree with Cody, seems to me that you could add runes on a weapon... |

Of course you can the talent only expands the types of weapons you can create |

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't sure since it specific says "Psionic Dagger" (and not "Psionic weapons"). |
