so Seduction which gives a +2 to persuasion(seduce), is not intended to stack with Honeyed tongue that give a generic +1 to persuasion.

that's what i thought was the situation.

Correct Sir..

Honeyed Tongue is generic while Seduction is specific...

I wanted to ask this question, but I didn't want to hijack the other thread with a tangent...

Why is it so few of the generic ones apply to your passive skill value, and just to a roll? I understand for power reasons why things like prodigy probably shouldn't, but it seems odd that someone who has Stealthy I, isn't in quieter over all (even when he isn't trying). Or Honey Tongue'd to persuasion. It seems that a lot of the skill talents should apply to the passive value of a skill and don't.

I purposely wanted to keep bonuses to a passive skill values rare...

You've certainly accomplished that. Like I said, I can see it some skills like in Arcanum - or any combat intensive skills, to prevent power creep. But it seems odd to me to not have stealthy and talents like it effect your passive skills. Some one with Stealth should be stealthier. Spending an entire talent to get 3/4 of a skill point seems pretty pricey to me for a skill that isn't likely to ever break the game.
