Dammit, Pedro, that doesn't really give him the answer he was looking for :) So I'm guessing that's a "no" for Tradition adaptations, but is the rest of what I remembered still accurate? (No Elder/Psionic and ignore prerequisite spells)

I wasn't looking for a specific answer, just a detailed one. It is clear from the answer that tradition adaptations are not allowable, elder/psionic specific spells are not allowed. I am all good with that. It is still not clear about prerequisites.

Here is how I'm going to be running this:

Quote:
Commune with Spirits
When using Commune with spirits you can bargain for any tier of spell that you currently have access to , with Arcane spellcasting Primal Source.
When selecting spells you CANNOT choose spells that are specific to a different Source (eg, you may not take Mindlock since its Elder magic, or Mental Scream since its psionic) Likewise you can't use any source specific adaptations.

We will be adding this to the next FAQ/Errata update...

(Which is currently under review by PCI)

Quote:
Effect: Practitioners of the Primal ways become a bridge between the mortal and spiritual realms.

You can call upon these sprits to grant you a boon; this boon takes the shape a single spell, from the Corpus, Illusions, or Control Traditions as long as you are of equal or higher Tier then the spell and that it is not limited to a specific Arcanum such as Mind Lock (Elder) or Clairvoyance (Psionic). For the next 24 hours you may cast that spell as a Primal spell utilizing both your Arcanum (Shamanism) skill and (Ch).
