Is it spending a talent or do you auto get it once you meet the requirements?

You have to take the "Learn Fighting Style" talent. It functions like any Tiered talent, so you have to take it each tier to gain that tier's benefits.

You have to meet all the perquisites of the talent and style. You also have to use the style's weapons and be in the stance to use any benefits.

Thanks bros!

Thinking Ghost Scale Path of the Claw type Scout. Steep requirements but it looks neat!

I've recently tweaked my character to use the Arcimous Primus style. It's heavy requirements to get into but I think really solidifies how I want my character to fight (weapon + spells).

Overall, I think most of the Fighting Styles are really cool.

Using the Tier 1.5 cert, I think I can get the first part of the Path by Tier 1.6 by taking two skill advancements, the two combat talent advancement, and the two talent advancement.

Thought you were asking about Fighting Styles. Sorry if I misunderstood.

No I was originally, then I tangentially started talking about Paths
