There is a Heretic flaw in the Codex of Heroes. "Effect: Nominate the church or religion that considers you a heretic. If you are ever caught by the authorities of that religion, you are quickly arrested and slowly put to death."

This one is in effect for any character who fits the bill at or after character creation. There's no limit on how many flaws a character can have, just how many they get a benefit for.

It is not heresy for a female to worship Jeggal Sag. The clergy of Jeggal Sag is primarily male, but that does not mean they ban females in any way. Hell, it is the MALE devotees of Jeggal Sag who are closer to a heresy, because Ss'ressen religion has always been matriarchal, so having male 'priests' is the bigger heresy in the eyes of the Black Talons.

Yup, and Ni'Sal has that flaw. I even tried to play it up and get myself into trouble at ArcanisCon last year when we were escorting that priest into the city. We bypassed the encounter at the gates by going in through the sewers. Unfortunately, the GM kinda dropped the ball with regard to making me suffer the consequences of that decision. :cry:
