In Codex of Heroes all fighting styles that give the benefit of Tactical Edge with certain maneuvers and tricks have the restriction that you only get it when fighting someone who hasn’t trained in that fighting style. The boiler plate usually reads: “While in this stance and fighting someone not trained in the [X] fighting style, you gain Tactical Edge while using [these maneuvers & tricks]…”
Way of the High Blade (and Flaying Scourge) have Tiers where they get the benefit of Tactical Edge with certain maneuvers. But there is no mention of only getting that benefit when fighting people outside of their fighting style. Is this intentional? Or a typo? Would two students of the High Blade get tactical advantage when lunging at each other?
