The Net under the weapons chart has a "-" for damage. Does that mean it does ZERO damage, or only damaged caused by the ability die. |

I took that to mean that it does 0 damage. |

Hello, wilcoxon wrote: I took that to mean that it does 0 damage. Wilcoxen is correct. A net, in and of itself, does not cause damage. |

Thanks! The weapon tricks for the Net are pretty cool in their own right. |

What about a Critical Hit? Does it cause a wound. or Was just so awesome at the using of the net the enemy is "extremely Comfortable" being caught in my net? I ask because I am looking into tripping. With my character deathly afraid to injure people, I don't want to have to roll a Horror check on critically hitting on a trip. |

If it does 0 damage, I would assume no wound on critical hit. |

Hello, Wilcoxen is correct - a Critical Hit with a net DOES NOT inflict a Wound. What it does accomplish is up to the GM, but I would personally do something like: tripped and now prone; weapon entangled and cannot be used, etc. It really depends on the situation and this is something that a GM should adjudicate. GM'ing is the art of story telling and this is a situation where such a craft can really shine. |
