Tier III: You gain a +2 bonus to your Arcanum Action Skill Roll when attempting to either counter a spell or to your Passive Arcanum Value to oppose someone countering a spell you are casting.

I don't see anyone counterspelling very often, but I often see people try to unravel the thread on existing spells. Would this add a +2 to your passive value to resist unravel the thread?

If not, is there anything that gives a bonus to your passive to resist unravel besides "blessed devotions?" (adaptation: fortify ward specifically gives a penalty to the person trying to unravel the thread so that it can stack with a bonus as well, but I suspect I'm just missing a talent that gives arcane casters a bonus - unless it is counter spell)

Blessed Devotions is the only one I'm aware of, but of course I do not have any Heroes who use Counter Spell.

Keep in mind that with the stacking rules, even if there were multiple talents which provided bonuses, the likelihood is that they would not stack with each other.

Yes, that is why I thought that fortify spell was specifically written the way it was. It gives the caster of unravel the thread a penalty, which is a mechanism that just screams to me that it was designed to stack with a bonus given to the PC as well, since they are different mechanisms.
