What is the passive might of a creature with 2d8 might dice (I assume probably 7)? Also, what would a might rune do for a being with 2d8 might dice? I assume it would not add to passive since the language only mentions a die bump. What does the might go to (2d8+2?) and am I right about it not effecting the passive? |

Could you give a reference for the source of this? To the passive this goes beyond the scope of what we have available (have to refer to Matt for a ruling on this), but the maximum die bump depends on the creature size. |

Eventually, eventually, path of the drake. Complicated by the fact that we have spells that references creatures that haven't been statted out yet. Not like I'll have this spell for years in the shared campaign, but a guy likes to dream a little.... |

Are you talking about PCs or Threats? The rules are slightly different. PCs have a maximum of 6, as its based on Attribute. Quote: Attribute: 17, Die: D12 (+2), Passive: 6 For Threats, it is "Half the creatures Base Die". As you can't get a Base Die higher than d12, it is also 6. Any increases to the Might die does not affect the Base Die calculation for passives. |

Any increases to the Might die does not affect the Base Die calculation for passives. I'm talking about a PC that has taken the form of a threat. As a simplifying method that I agree with, threats appear to just use one half their creature base die (what is the base creature die of a drake?) in general as their stat modifier, but it seems appropriate when they are functioning as a PC (and can thus afford to be a little more complicated) that the passive value be modified by their traits as well, to recognize that "strong as an ox" is term for a reason, while "quick as an ox" is not. |
