Vital Strike per A:RPG page 270:

Effect: Weapon: you deal an additional weapon damage die. For example; if you are using a weapon that deals 1d8 (Mi) on damage, roll 2d8 (Mi) instead.

So if the maneuver is performed with an Fine/Exceptional quality weapon, will the Effect of the technique also include the +1 damage resulting from the weapon quality? Using the example above, instead of 1d8+1 (Mi) would you roll 2d8+2 (Mi)?

It doesn't multiply the weapon quality damage; only the damage die of the weapon.

Was thinking that would be the case given the wording, but wanted to make sure I wasn't short changing myself.
