I was playing around with my precalculated CTN spreadsheet and I came up with a wild base spell. I want to make certain that I have this calculated correctly.
Farstrike+Adaptation Alterarea+Adaptation Selective Spell+Adaptation Lingering Spell+ Spell Affinity Farstrike.
By my count this is:
Base
CTN 27
Speed 11 (Sustain 11)
Strain 18
Range 0
Area 20' radius
Target Avoidance
Effect: Target all targets in range with melee attack except for 4 allies (Passive logic = 4)
Break that down a little more:
CTN = Base 20 + 4 + 3 + 4 -2 = 29
Speed = Weapon speed 4 (excep broad sword + Base 2 + 2 + 1 + 0 +0 = 9
Strain = Base 5 + 3 + 5 + 2 + 0= 15
Range = 15' cone (adaptation: alter area talent changes it 0)
Area = adaptation: alter area talent changes it to 10' radius
Targets avoidance
Notes: This uses 4 different talents, none of the adaptations are adaptation from the spell. Additionally, adaptation: select spell requires that the spell has a duration of instantaneous, while adaptation: lingering arcanum makes it sustained (for one additional time, with a occurrence rate of the original casting speed). I am not sure if adaptation: select spell still can apply after applying lingering arcanum because of this.
Is all that math correct?
