Pedro, do you guys (PCI) still use the Yahoo groups for official errata?

I can answer that:

No they dont, the boards are what they use instead of the yahoo groups.

Do spells that add a "Spell Speed" to a Weapon Speed (e.g. Far Strike, Whirling Blade, etc.) become Interruptible spells if the combination of Weapon Speed + Spell Speed equals or exceeds 7? Weapon attacks are never interruptible, and these spells are "Make a Melee or Ranged Attack", so it's unclear.

Can a base spell of range "Self" be combined with a spell of range "Self (10' Radius)" and become an advanced spell of Range "Self"? Seems they are compatible by the smallest area way of doing things. Specifically the spells in question are Inertial shield and Dome of Shadows.

Hi Pedro

There is an issue with Ansharans and their Gates. At present the only way to be eligible to attune to and use Gates is through the tier 1 val Inares bloodline talent Path of Stars. That means humans dark-kin etc etc have no way to attune and operate gates even if they become Annoited Priests of Anshar.

I would suggest that Path of Stars also be made a devout talent.

Either that, or give it Anointed Priest of Anshar as in place of Disciplined (or as a 'bonus' talent).

whats wrong with giving the anointed priest disciplined?

and a third option would be to give it to the "ansharan gate keeper" path

Sure or that too. Means all priests of Anshar can work Gates. Not sure if that's true for everyone. Also leaves Holy Champions out in the cold. Which might be fine.

I kind of like this but Ansharan Gate Keepers have to be Tier 3. My personal take is that lower level people should be able to work Gates. But then again may not ... maybe working a Gate is a pretty elite thing to do.

On the whole I think I still like the idea of Path of Stars also being made into a devout talent best. So divine casting Ansharans can choose (or not) to take it. But both of your other options are also workable.

Time for a question about questions -redundancy, whee!

Is the forum to comment/kvetch about Talents that don't have any mechanical errors but are vexing?
