Greetings, The Psionic version of Manipulation of Shadow spell allows a caster to add Fine Frost, Celerity and Shadow runes to a shadow dagger. Per the Forged in Magic book, there is no benefit for having a Fine shadow rune on a weapon so some sort of errata is needed. Here are the options I can think of. 1. Remove the Shadow option and limit it to 2 rune choices 2. Replace Shadow with another rune choice 3. Provide some benefit in general or for this spell for a fine Shadow rune 4. Allow at least an Exceptional Shadow rune and note any additional cost if appropriate. Also, as some errata is going to be needed for this spell anyway, are throwing blades as a type of dagger allowed to be created by the base spell? They didn't exist when the spell was written and throwing blades are noted as being "a popular weapon among both the val'Borda and the Twilight Warriors." (CoH p.101) With a sweep of his hat, Paul |
