Just out of curiosity, has anyone actually been able to use the WM2 talent benefits? As I recall there really aren't any opposed rolls any more so its ability seems less than useful.

I think right now it's a talent tax.

Eisener has it for the Bastard Sword. No he's never used it. Likely won't either unless he faces an NPC that specializes in disarming. Still you need it to get to WM Tier 3 ...

Disarm no longer allows a Dynamic Roll, so I'm not sure what you would use it on.

I'm not 100% sure of this but, the opposed rolls when one uses Study Opponent (under Melee skill) when the target is aware you are studying him/her?

If there are no opposed rolls, it seems like WM2 needs to be errata'd to give a benefit that is (or at least might be) useful.

Weapon Mastery
Tier II: You gain d(Re) to all dynamic weapon Action Skill
Rolls (such as resisting a disarm).

Cunning Opponent
Benefit: When facing more than one opponent in melee,
as a Push 2 action, and only in response to a melee
attack you may perform a Dynamic Melee (any)
Action Skill Roll against the Passive Melee
Value of your attacker. If successful, your
opponent’s attack is redirected to another
opponent of your choice.

So, yay for me, and any other Master Duelists.

Hope that helps.

Not really. A general tiered talent that relies on a specific path and martial technique to be useful isn't that great.
