If an attribute gains a die bump (ie: Furious Rage (ta)) or a die penalty does the corresponding passive value increase or decrease as well?

It depends on how the ability is worded. If it specifically says 'die bump' (ie Furious Rage), all you get is that die bump (no increase to the attribute score, or the passive). A die bump can be pretty powerful though, I wouldn't discount those abilities simply because you don't get a passive bonus.

There are other abilities out there that simply provide a bonus to an attribute (ie. His Might is Our Own) which have a chance of increasing your die and passive, but at the same time those abilities could also fail to give you any benefit. For instance, if you already have an eight in a stat and then you gain a bonus of 1 or 2, it doesn't really benefit you significantly.
