So to be very clear - for myself - a talent granted by Archtype ignores *all* requirements/restrictions, except for Tier, Race, and Archtype? If that's the case, 'Learn Martial Technique' from Martial allows the character to take any Tier 1 martial technique - regardless of attribute, additional talent, and skill requirements?

Yes, which is why every Martial has Sweeping Strike. I also find this a good balance with Experts taking things like prestidigitation or the like with their Archetype Talents.

Actually I was thinking more for an archer, taking 'Rapid Shot'.

Astra took Leadership at the time (as her Background also gave Leadership, saving a talent slot in T2), so its not an auto-include.

But, yes, the flexibility of Archetype talent choices (if you do get a choice) does make for some interesting decisions and the ability to get some high pre-requisite T1 talents.

It depends on whether you planned to take Quick Draw or not I suppose. I just find Rapid Shot almost a must have for an archer build. Taking double Leadership is cool, but isn't usable for a long time if you're starting at 1.1.
