Post subject:  Languages in the Unsealed Lands

Something that has always bugged me a bit was the list of languages available for the various nations of the Unsealed Lands. It lists the two nations available as being Bastion and Haina, and the two available Languages being Auxunite (illiterate) and Khitani (Literate), implying that Auxunite is the Bastionite Language, and Khitani (Low Khitani?) is the Hainese Language.

My question is, is this representative?

Judging from the 3.X Campaign, Haina has its own language which functions as a creole or a mixture of Low Khitani and Infernal (probably with Auxunite in there too). The Riders it makes sense for them to speak Auxunite (as that was the main power of the region, along with Khitan) or Yhing Hir (their southern 'descendents'). But what about Bastion? Auxunite makes sense there too, but also so does Altharin as Xabal would have taught the language to his followers. How about Giant's Keep? They were descended from a Coryani Legion, so High Coryani makes sense (since Triduaean is extinct), but so does some of the other ancient languages (ie: Ancient Milandesian) or even Udor. Then again, after 1000 years, it is entirely possible they have switched to Auxunite, Hainese, or any of the other neighbouring languages for their every day use.

What I propose is an expansion of the list in the book (page 123: ARPG)

Auxunite / N (Riders, Giant's Keep)
Altharin / Y (Bastion)
Khitani / Y (Haina, Zhuan)
Hainese / N (Haina)
Infernal / Y (Fiendish Expanse)
